Lotus L-39 V1.35 released (December 7, 2010)

A new version of the L-39 is available for those who have purchased prior to December 7, 2010. You can get the new version by simply re-downloading your L-39 package from your account at Simmarket or FSPilotshop. All FlightsimStore customers are already using v1.35 and are up to date.

If you have any difficulties obtaining the updated version please register here by following the instructions in this "how to register" post in this public forum. FSpilotshop customers may be asked to pay $5 to reactivate their downloads if they have purchased more than one year ago. If this is the case for you then please do register on this forum so that you can access a free link to this latest version.

If you purchased the L-39 after December 7, 2010 from any of the vendors please disregard this post, you should have the latest version already.

Before installing the new version please make sure to completely uninstall your current L-39 package. This new version 1.35 is a full installer, not a patch.

Fixes/Improvements in this version:

1. Landing lights have greatly improved smoothness when taking off or landing from the VC. No more ugly visible steps in brightness.

2. Fixed a small rendering error that could potentially cause polygon flickering around the engine intakes on the external model. So far I've only seen this happen on Nvidia 400 series video cards.

3. Disabled the landing light effect completely during daytime (since you can't see it anyway) to mitigate problems that they have with heavy fog when they're turned on. There is nothing I can do about similar problems at dawn and dusk in fog unfortunately, just an FSX limitation.

4. Lotussim house colours and Breitling 2010 paint added to install.

5. This version includes the fixes from the previous 1.31 and 1.32 patches.

Thanks,

Please note: I will be out of the office from May 15th to June 2nd 2012. During this time I will have intermittent internet access, so it may take me longer than usual to process new accounts. I apologize in advance for any delay.

Access to the members area forums for L-39 support, screenshots, and the multiplayer speed dating service, is restricted to accounts with proof of purchase information.

1. To access these forums please first ensure your email spam filters are off temporarily, then register your user name on this forum and reply to your confirmation email. After that please log in, and send a private message to me (Lotus) with the following information:

- Your real name (or the name of the person who purchased the L-39 for you)
- The vendor you purchased your L-39 from, ie: Simmarket, FS Pilotshop, or Flight Sim Store (FSS)
- The email address you used during purchase with that vendor

2. After forum registration and confirmation you can send me a private message with this info by clicking the "PM" button below this post.

3. After I receive this information you will be granted access to the support and member forums within 24 hours at most, but usually much less than that. Please login again within that time period and your account should be verified.

If you have any pre-purchase questions or comments at all please feel free to email me at lotus@lotussim.com and I will be more than happy to answer them.

If you have any difficulties registering on the forum, do not receive your registration email, or do not receive member status within 24 hours of providing confirmation, then please email me at the above address or private message me on this forum and I will get the issue sorted out as quickly as possible.

I offer my most sincere apologies for this inconvenience to honest customers and those curious about the L-39. Unfortunately the rampant piracy of my work leaves me little choice but to confirm legitimate user purchase information before I can provide support. I truly wish this were not necessary.

In the interest of being totally forthright and honest with potential customers, you will find a regularly updated and publicly viewable post of all outstanding product issues and bugs in this forum, as well as the status of any pending fixes.

Thanks very much for your understanding and support.
